This year, organizers said, the spectacular fireworks display is planned for Friday, June 17, at dusk rather than the traditional Saturday night event. In the event of inclement weather, Liberty Fest fireworks will take place on Saturday, June 18, at dusk, officials added.
Sponsors for the event are still being accepted as are restaurant participants for the Taste of Liberty Fest. For sponsorship information, contact Advantage Marketing Solutions. In addition, vendors including food trucks, concessions and general vendors can apply at the township online Liberty Fest information site. Entertainers and performers can also register at the Canton Township website where more information and applications are available.
The festival will feature the traditional attractions, organizers said, including carnival rides, midway games, two stages of live entertainment and the Taste of Liberty Fest, along with the Friday night fireworks display.
