As seen on Sesame Street and Sprout Network, Mario “the Maker Magician” Marchese is set to appear on the Main Stage at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton 1t 3 p.m Saturday, March 19.

Touted as “the best kids' magician in the world” by David Blaine, Mario is more than just a performer, he is also an inventor who creates his own props. He is known for his dedication to the Maker Movement and STEAM initiatives and his integration of DIY electronics and robotics into his performance.

Mario has been called the modern age's Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, with a creative 'thinking outside the box' inventor twist.

“Mario's energetic and engaging performances are modern takes on the old school vaudeville acts that feature recreated electronics that are made from unused, broken raw materials from discarded computers and gadgets,” said Canton Performing Arts Coordinator Ben Frick. “This interactive, hilarious act is sure to delight audiences of all ages.”

The show continues for approximately 50-60 minutes in length without intermission and is ideal for ages 3-10 and their families. Tickets for this performance range from $15-$20 and are available for purchase online at www.cantonvillagetheater.org or by calling (734) 394-5300. Tickets can also be purchased at The Village Theater Box Office one hour prior to showtime. Preview Mario the Maker Magician in action at:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6A7FStBR5s.
