Officers Get Cold Feet and More in Upcoming Polar Plunge Northville Township Police Raise Money for Special Olympic

Kate Hart

Officers based with the Northville Township Police Department are taking the Polar Plunge Challenge held at Belleville Yacht Club on February 17th at 12:00 PM.  This Polar Plunge is a fun and unique way of fund raising embraced by the community for a great cause. Motivated by their continued passion and ties to the Special Olympics Michigan. this event has become a favorite for spectators and participants.

This is more than a challenge; it’s a respectful turn to raise awareness and bring attention to those who benefit.  Though individuals participate, it’s the combined effort that is successful in raising money for Special Olympics Michigan. The best part is that you can be part of the team.  Wannabe plungers may join in person or virtually.  Each participant will count toward the Team Total.
