As a result of Canton Township facility closures to combat the spread of COVID-19, Canton Leisure Service managers have established processes to issue refunds and credits to those who paid for memberships and programs.
All Summit on the Park memberships, including Kids' Corner memberships, will be extended for the duration of the closure, and all monthly membership payments will be credited upon the facility reopening. Should Summit members have any questions during this closure, they can email the Membership Services Team at summitmemberservices@canton-mi.org.
Participants who have registered for a Leisure Services class, program, or event that was canceled before the intended start date will receive a refund or credit to their household account.
Participants who were enrolled in a class or program that was currently in session will be prorated once these programs return.
Facility rentals scheduled to take place during the closures are canceled and will be fully refunded.
The Village Theater at Cherry Hill will automatically be issuing full refunds to ticket-holders for performances canceled during this time-frame. Ticket purchases paid by credit or debit card will be refunded directly back to that card. Ticket purchases paid by check or cash will be refunded by check and will be contacted to confirm the correct mailing address.
All account refunds and credits will be processed as soon as Leisure Services staff returns to work. Residents should expect some delays and allow additional time for all transactions to be processed, due to high volume. While there is no need to contact the department individually to request these account credits and refunds, questions can be sent by email to leisure@canton-mi.org and the staff will respond as soon as possible, officials said.
