Slick sticks

Romulus police officers and firefighters who skate on The United Enforcers took second place at the Copper Cup, a three-day public safety hockey tournament in Bay City recently. The hockey tournament is a benefit for Michigan Special Olympics. The 10-man team roster included Romulus Police Cpl, Christopher Kososki; Cpl. Keith Haynes, Cpl. Andrew Carriger, Ofc. Shaun Fox and Sgt. Darryl Nippes along with Firefighter John Blanchard and Firefighter Joel Ryan Albright. The event generated nearly $20,000 for Michigan Special Olympics.
