Women's Life Society, Chapter 827 and Chicks 4 Charity will host the special Chili Cook Off fundraiser to benefit the Canton Cares Fund from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.
Area residents can sample and vote for their favorite chili during the event that will benefit the Canton police and fire departments through the Canton Cares Fund, which is overseen by the Canton Community Foundation.
Local area restaurants will be on hand showcasing their finest and tastiest chili recipes. The event will begin with chili tasting and a 50/50 raffle followed by the voting for the best chili. Winners will be announced at the closing of the event.

Registration and ticket purchases are now available online at: https://conta.cc/2RixawF. Tickets for this event are $20 for ages 13 and older, or $5 for ages 12 and under. The event is limited to the first 300 participants and early registration is encouraged. Tickets include chili sampling and water/soft drinks. Additional full servings of chili and hot dogs will be available for purchase for $2 each. There will be a cash bar on-site.
The Canton Cares Fund is a 501© (3) fund established through the Canton Community Foundation, which provides financial support for Canton Township-sponsored programs assisting seniors, veterans, youths, and the disabled, programs assisting Canton residents following natural disasters, mass casualty or significant personal loss, and programs recognizing heroic or “above-and-beyond the call-of-duty” acts of township employees.
