Tickets are now available for Inktown Derby Day.
The Inkster Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 23rd annual mixer set for 4:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. Saturday, May 6 at the Inkster Civic Arena.
Organizer Ruth Williams said tickets, priced at $50 in advance or $60 per person at the door, are going fast for the event which will feature dinner, horse race betting, casino gaming, a cash bar and a hat contest.
Tickets are being sold at Inkster City Hall, Bishop Auto Wrecking and the Harrison Liquor Store and are available by phone from Williams at (734) 635-6000 or Martha Theis Lee at (586) 634-5739. Online tickets are being sold on Eventbrite.com, Inktown Derby Day.
