Christie Bankhead, the Northville Township accounts payable associate, has been named as the new purchasing director in the township finance department. Bankhead will be the first individual to hold the newly created position. She will lead the township team of finance associates, which includes overseeing the daily cash receipting process and will oversee diverse purchasing tasks, from vendor relations to fraud controls. Her role also involves technical duties like managing vendor accounts and credit cards, preparing 1099s, and aiding in the annual audit.
