Local businesses respond to state closure orders

While many downtown businesses in Plymouth have been forced to close during the imposed social distancing, others remain open with limited hours. Several restaurants in the area remain open offering carry-out and often delivery service of meals.
The Plymouth Downtown Development Authority has offered a list of businesses open in the community and issues an updated bulletin on a daily basis which can be found at www.downtownplymouth.org. This is the latest information sent last week.

Open in Plymouth are
Stella's Black Dog Tavern will stay open for carryout orders from 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. seven days a week.  Stella's Trackside will be closed.
Hermann's Olde Time Grille is now open for carry out from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Online ordering is available at hermannsoldetowngrille.patronpath.com or order by phone at (734) 451-1213.  Carryout beer is also available.

The Room Hair & Design will be closed and plans to reopen as soon as possible.
Karl's Cabin is offering a pre-order three course dinner for curbside pickup each day from 4-6 p.m. daily. Pre-orders only no walk ins. Orders are accepted until noon the day prior to pick-up. Westborn Market is offering a senior citizen and persons with disabilities shopping hour from 7 a.m.  - 8 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.   General store hours for the remaining public will be 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in all locations, seven days a week. Customers under 60 years of age are asked to wait until the designated time to shop.

Wiltse's Community Pharmacy will be open  from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday. 
Kennedy Nemier Insurance is fully functional for sales and service to clients as the team is working remotely.  Payments for most all companies can be made online and the website has a list of the links to make payments and information to file claims.   For after-hours emergency claims visit  www.kennedynemier.com
First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth invites residents to worship  during new online services only.  The church building is closed until April 6, pending further assessment. 
Bode's Corned Beef House remains open for business with easy curbside pickup. 
Panera Bread in downtown Plymouth will have "rapid pickup" and delivery.  All orders can be made at www.panerabread.com or by calling the store at (734) 459-4772. 
Kemnitz Fine Candies will be closed through March 31.  Customers can call (734) 453-0480 and place an order.  We will attempt to have customers pick up orders on April 1 and no one will be billed till that date.  Questions can be directed to Kem_store@sbcglobal.net. 
Beauty Haven and Laser Pain Relief Centers of America in downtown Plymouth is temporarily closed.
Aldrich Legal Services, PLLC is open for business and is accommodating clients who want to talk via phone/email/video conferencing instead of in our office.  Normal business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Greek islands will be open10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday  for carryout, delivery and curbside services.
Radiant Fine Jewelry will be closed for business until further notice.
Community Financial Credit Union branch lobbies will be available by appointment only and only for services that cannot be done through the drive-thru.   Branch appointments can be made by calling (877) 937-2328 and pressing 8.

Alpine Chocolat Haus is running normal business hours 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.  Call (734) 389-7570 for carry out service.

The Penn Theatre is closed until April 9.
Dairy King is closed.
Maya's Deli of Plymouth will be open 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Saturday for carry-out, catering, curbside services and limited delivery.
Dance New York will be closed for at least two weeks.
Bigalora and Arbor Brewing are open for carry-out, curbside pick-up and delivery, including beer, and offering the Bigalora menu and the Arbor Brewing Company beer. Call to order and pay via credit card, (734) 233-6200.

My Yoga Room is closed but will soon offer virtual yoga classes.. Clients will need an active membership to access classes.
Eats & Sweets Plymouth will remain open with reduced hours for  curbside pick-up, carry out and the service windows will be open from 10 a.m.- 8 p.m Monday-Saturday and noon- 4 p.m. on Sunday. Local delivery is available within a 2-mile radius at no charge. Call (734) 667-4370.
Cupcake Station is still operating from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day or until cupcakes are sold out. Only carry-out services, no dine-in allowed. Orders may still be placed online or on the phone.
Compari's on the Park will remain open for carry out and catering needs. Free delivery, carryout, or curbside pickup is available from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. daily. A free reusable bag included with all orders more than $50 while supplies last. Spa Asiago is closed until further notice.
Ironwood Grill will offer curbside carry-out from noon to 9 p.m.

Little Bangkok will be open for carry-out menu items. 
Panera Bread has carryouts, rapid pick-ups and delivery but no dine-in services.
Basement Vintage will be closed now through April 16. Follow Facebook and Instagram for updates. 
Burger Spot and Pizza Spot will be carry-out only. Pizza Spot will continue delivery through DoorDash.

The Makeup Loft will be closed until further notice but will be monitoring phones and emails. 
The Harris Conservatory of Music is now offering online and video chat lessons for every instrument we teach.  Students of all ages can study with HCOM real professional musicians on the phone using Skype.

The Plymouth District Library is closed through April 5.  All items now checked out will be due on April 15.  There will be no overdue fines charged during this closure.
The library website -  https://plymouthlibrary.org - will continue to offer downloadable materials which can be enjoyed by all ages.
The Plymouth Historical Museum is closed indefinitely.
PARC activities will be suspended until further notice.
