Seven local businesses in the City of Romulus have received Going PRO Talent Fund grants, totaling $255,819. This state funding will allow businesses to continue investing in their employees and demonstrating growth in 2021 and 2022, officials said.
The Going PRO Talent Fund assists employers with training, developing and retention of current and newly-hired employees. “Romulus has a rich community of hardworking individuals who show up to work every day and play their part in supporting our city's local economy, said McCraight. “With support from the Going PRO Talent Fund, our local businesses will have the means necessary to ensure that our working community has the skills and resources they need to grow and thrive.”
