“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”

In addition to the traditional celebration and remembrance of civil right leader and activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. set for next Monday, Romulus residents are being asked to help those less fortunate in the community keep warm this winter.

Winter coats, gloves, socks, hats and cold weather accessories will be collected from participants following the march to Romulus High School Jan. 16.

Items will be collected and provided to the less fortunate in the community, noted Rachel Funderburg. For more information, contact her at annualcoatandmittens@gmail.com.
