With snow accumulation expected in the weather forecast, Canton Summit on the Park is bringing back the 'Lending Sled Library' through March 31. The lending program offers passersby a chance to borrow a sled for a spin down a small hill to then return it when they are done; weather permitting. The 'Need a Sled - Use a Sled - Have Fun,' set up is located at the east side of the Summit on the Park, the Canton recreation center, located at 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton, MI 48188. A small sledding hill is adjacent that offers a quick little run next to the stand. A sign at the sled stand points out that sledding hills are completely unsupervised, uninspected, and ungroomed, so those who use the sledding hills are doing so at their own risk. In addition, children must be supervised at all times and all sledders must watch out for the safety of others.
