The positive audit was presented to the board members during the Sept. 22 meeting and included the financial transactions and management of the fiscal year ending March 31.
The auditor referred to the findings as “a good report” and told the board members that they “do a good job watching the budget.” She noted that overall, the budget in the township is stable.
The general fund balance of $9.2 million against total expenditures of $5.4 million indicate that the township financial health is sound with nearly two years of anticipated expenses already funded, she said.
“Those are real numbers,” she told the board members.
