The group is seeking volunteers to help collect and distribute gifts this year. Current volunteers will meet between 6 and 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in the lower level of the Township Administration Building. Information about the Goodfellows and the holiday operation will be provided along with light refreshments.
There are several opportunities to help, Goodfellows representatives said. This year, the Canton Goodfellows and Canton Leisure Services are teaming up to help brighten the holidays for Canton children. To participate, bring a new, unwrapped toy or gift card to the Summit on the Park until Dec. 2.
Contributions of food are being collected at Holiday Market in Canton beginning tomorrow, Nov. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 20. A list of needed items will be available to shoppers and volunteers will be on hand to collect donations.
