Annual International Festival set for Saturday

The annual International Festival returns to The Village Theater at Cherry Hill Saturday, Nov. 2 celebrating diversity in Canton and surrounding communities through song and dance.
This annual cultural and educational festival will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday on the main stage of the theater, located at 50400 Cherry Hill Road.

Featured performers include: Taiji Stream; Yangtze Melody Group; Joyas de Mexico Ballet; Asian Indian Dance of Canton, choreographer Parul Shah; Inner Action, choreographed by Sharon Kang; Heart Melody Group; YiRen Dance Team; Natya Tarangini Kuchipudi Academy, choreographed by Sailaja Pullela; Canton QiPao; Voice of Hearts Arts Group; Indian Traditional and Filmy Music Group; Michigan New Century Chinese School; Josie Zhou Group; New Hope Church of Wayne, Youth Choir; Angela Bolon - pipa soloist and a student of Yuchen Tian; Canton Summit Dance Team; Ann Hua Dance Group; Natyakala School; Golden Years Troupe senior group; Mac Dance Company; Xiang Yin Female Chorus; Tantra Bollywood Fusion Dance; Ann Arbor LiRen Dance Team; Hoaloha Polynesian Dance; Sunshine Chinese Dance Team and Claire Academy; Anna Ballet Class; Joyce Liang Korean Pop dance and Jessie Li Team.
Cultural displays, vendor tables, and an International Sweets Table offering treats from local stores and bakeries will be located in the lobby during the performance.
This event is presented by the all-volunteer Multicultural Committee of the Canton Commission for Culture, Arts and Heritage.
Tickets are $2 per person at the door; cash only.  Audience members can have their hand stamped and come and go as they please throughout the day. Seating for this main stage production is general admission.
