Holiday Home Tour is planned in Northville

From a home built in 1883 to a condominium with a weaving loft, visitors to the Northville Community Foundation Holiday Home Tour can visit five privately-owned homes filled with Christmas spirit this year.
The highly-anticipated tour is planned for 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Nov. 22 and 23 this year.
The tour homes have each been fully decorated for the holidays.  The varied style of the homes and the decorations is sure to please every taste, a spokesperson noted.

This year, in addition to the historic home built in 1883 and the condo with a weaving studio in the loft, visitors can tour a traditional home in a gated community and a farmhouse "glam" home just outside downtown Northville. Many of the homes have just been updated and are beautifully decorated for the holiday season.
The 2019 Holiday Home Tour will also feature a refreshment stop at the Tipping Point Theatre in downtown Northville.  Guests can enjoy light refreshments and also enter to win two tickets to a future Tipping Point Theatre production.
Tickets for the 2019 Holiday Home Tour are $25 if purchased in advance and $30 the day of the tour.  To purchase tickets in advance, visit Pear-Aphernalia, Gardenviews, Haven of Northville, or the Northville Chamber of Commerce.  Tickets may also be purchased online by visiting www.northvillecommunityfoundation.org or by phone at (248) 374-0200.  Tickets are limited and the tour does sell out nearly every year.
Proceeds from the Holiday Home Tour help fund the work of the Northville Community Foundation. The Northville Community Foundation enhances and enriches life in the community through operations of Maybury Farm, a working farm with a mission to connect the community to animals and agriculture through hands-on experiences that are both engaging and educational.
The foundation also annually awards scholarships to local students and grants to nonprofit organizations serving Northville and the surrounding communities.
