Hundreds of visitors annually attend the exhibition which includes a public reception from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 with awards presented at 6 p.m.  The guest juror/judge this year will be Todd Burroughs, founding director of Atelier Art Studio in Royal Oak.  Burroughs attended Columbia College and received an honors degree in Historic Preservation and Fine art from EMU.  His teaching experience includes at art museums, art centers and the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
Three Cities Art Club was founded in Plymouth almost 65 years ago - residency is not a restriction - adults are welcome to join no matter their skill level.  Monthly events take place at the Plymouth Library at 6:45 p.m. usually the first Monday of the month.   These events feature free workshops, demonstrations and informative presentations and members bring new art on which attendees vote. Winning artists collect points for a chance to win cash at the end of the season.
Visitors can attend up to three meetings free.  The minimal $25 annual membership fee includes a full color monthly newsletter by mail and email for which anyone can sign up, art supply discounts plus opportunities to exhibit in at least two art shows a year.
The 8th Annual Juried Exhibit is free to attend and is set for Monday, Nov. 25 through Thursday, Jan. 9 at Westland City Hall, located at 36300 Warren Road. The exhibition is open during hours at city hall.
