Applicants must be at least 16 years of age or older and must possess a current certification in Lifeguard Training, C.P.R.
Individuals who are not currently certified as a lifeguard may enroll in the Summit on the Park lifeguard class at no cost. The Summit on the Park is offering lifeguard classes Nov. 15-17 and 23-24 (on Fridays from 5:30 p.m.
Lifeguards and swim instructors at Summit on the Park have the opportunity to work shifts ranging from three to eight hours. In addition, morning, daytime, evening and weekend hours are also available. As Canton Township employees, lifeguards and swim instructors are also entitled to free membership at Summit on the Park, which includes use of fitness and recreational facilities, as well as discounts and priority enrollment in a wide variety of classes and events year-round.
