Members of the Sumpter Township Police Department received a large envelope in the mail last week filled with thank you letters from the fourth-grade class at Keystone Academy in Belleville. Students hand-wrote the notes of support and admiration for the local police officers and thanked them for all they do in the community. Officers posted the notes on the official Facebook page with a note of thanks to the students and said it “was a great way to start the day.”
