Police investigation continues

A shooting that took place in Romulus June 6 remains under investigation.
According to police reports, officers were called to the 2800 block of Zellmer Street at about 9 a.m. Saturday, June 6.  When officers arrived they found two male subjects suffering apparent gunshot wounds. The men were transported by emergency responders to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Officers also found multiple shell casings and broken glass at the scene.
Police said they are seeking Walter Lee Shackelford, 20, who drives a black 2006 GMC Yukon for questioning about the incident.
Officers said anyone with information about Shackelford's location should call the Romulus Police Department at (734) 941-8400. Callers can remain anonymous, police said.
